- Electrical TechnologyPower or electricity is what keeps most electronics alive. This module covers the calculation of power, energy, and the fundamentals of how it is generated and transmitted.0
- Analogue ElectronicsBefore there was digital, all electronics communicated with continuously variable signals. This is called analogue. While most systems are digital these days, it is still important to remember the tradition.0
- Digital CircuitsAfter understanding analogue, digital circuits will be explored. These signals behave differently and are programmed and controlled differently. Analogue circuits will then have to be adapted to the digital world and design circuits with Multisim.0
- Engineering Mathematics 2Building on the previous base of mathematics, this will go further and cover Fourier transforms, la place, Transforms, and linear differential equations.0
- Microcontrollers, Sensors, and ActuatorsThis module will Introduce the Arduino microcontroller. This may not be the same as the industry standard but it's a great versatile piece of kit to start with. Attach it to sensors and actuators to learn how to make prototypes.0
- Intro to ProgrammingCoding translates instructions to electronics. There are many languages out There, but few engineers stray far from the core of the C-language. This will cover the basics, through data, input and output, control, arrays, and database language.0
- Engineering MathematicsMath engineering is the language of engineers. This module covers differentiation, integration, complex numbers, matrix and determinants, differential equations, Fourier, and power series.0
- Electronics Group ProjectWork in a group designing a working prototype. Create a project specification and participate in individual roles with time scales, and tasks. By the end of the module each group should have a working prototype to demonstrate.0
- Project ManagementCompanies are now becoming more project-based than ever, and people are expected to lead or function as part of a project team. This module will provide the skills and covers a wide variety of tools that every young technical profession should know, from conceptualization to closure of any projects.0
